Just got my P-03MT in the mail today. It was PERFECT right out of the box. Of all the guitars I have bought sight unseen online (dozens) this is the only one I did not have to re-set up myself. I mean perfect action, everything. The 1 3/4 in nut combined with the 24" scale makes for a super easy guitar to play. You can even bend the thrid string up a whole step with ease! It's a blues machine! Can you tell Im happy! LOL It is not real loud, but it shouldn't be considering it's size. A brass slide just sounds sick on this thing too! Can you say Delta?
Fit and finsish is perfect. I can not find a single flaw anywhere. And I am very nit-picky. Intonation is spot on, and there is no fret buzz anywhere on the neck.

I am a flatpicker, and I can play this thing hard and it still sounds good!

Larrivee............you just converted a Gibson Snob. Larrivee is now my favorite brand. Special thanks to Daves Woodstock Music for getting it to me so fast, and for the good communication. I am one happy customer and will be sending buisness your way.

I bought this guitar a year ago, and with the highest of expectations. This guitar exceeded them, and I have been playing it exclusively since, while all my other brands have remained in their case. I am both a player and a teacher, and as such I have professional standards when it comes to a new instrument.

The P-03MT came with a perfect setup, with the action nice and low but no buzz whatsoever, even when played rather aggressively. Fit and finish was superb, equal to or better than any I have ever seen. The case was sturdy and good-looking, with a thick layer of soft material to the inside. I have since carried this guitar on a plane without any hesitation.

As far as the feel, this is an acoustic guitar that plays like an electric. With its shorter scale of 24" and narrower neck (1.3/4" at the nut), it plays soft, quick and easy, and makes string-bending a cinch.

Its sound is rich with mid-high harmonics when played with a pick. When fingerpicked, the bass range gets even deeper--this is about the best fingerpicking guitar I've ever played, let alone owned. When playing with a pick, I use a Pearce Sarod buffalo-horn, which makes the parlor-sized guitar bark nice and loud, and can stand up to other instruments without any problems. With a traditional celluloid pick, it has a wonderful, intimate sound that a more bassy Dread can only dream of.

Lastly, a word on daveswoodstockmusic.com. It was a sheer pleasure to do business with them--they answered all my calls and questions in a knowledgeable and friendly manner, and shipped the item promptly when I ordered it. I look forward to doing business with them again soon. (BTW, I think the all-mahogany Parlor is their exclusive model, so, one more thing to thank them for!)

In conclusion, I love my P-03MT--it is my second Larrivee, and I now wouldn't buy any other brand.
