I own this very same guitarI would rather give up every thing I have than to give up my Yari. The timber, tone and sustain excellent. Soperb action. The cutaway allows me to get the high notes if I want. I have a Martin D28 and many other fine guitars. This was my first high end guitar and is still my favorite.

The DY74C is not made anymore. I considered them one of the best (If not the best) Yairi's ever. Great sound and looks.

I have a 1981 DY74C that I bought new. This guitar is very sweet sounding, plays well and is still accurately intoned. Excellent craftsmanship and design make this a eally good instrument. Yep, I'm a fan. I have a couple of higher end Taylors that I love but my Yairi has its own unique character and it records beautifully.

I have a DY74C and it has never failed to impress. It is my favorite guitar. It's quality tone and the ease of playability as well as conservative, but good looks has left many in awe. It's a true gem.It like my wife are my lifetime companion.
